Meet The Commanders
Rex Chaney
Senior Commander
I have been in Rangers since a boy. I was a Royal Ranger Pioneer in Miami, Oklahoma when I was 9 years old. Finishing School, and marrying my wife Teressa, we moved around the country with Safeway.

I had the opportunity to work as a Royal Ranger Commander in many great churches. I came back to Royal Rangers as a Leader in 1975. This was in Tulsa Oklahoma, at Wood lake Assembly of God. I was the Commander for the Buckaroo Outpost, then was Sr. Commander. During this time, I became an FCF Frontiersmen and Buckskin member. I earned my Leadership Training Medal and went to NTC. I was a Training Instructor and an Instructor Trainer. 1975-1980.

We moved to Nebraska, and I attended Calvary Assembly of God and was the Senior Commander at the church, and also the District Training Coordinator. My older son, Josh was born. I became a Wilderness member in FCF. 1980-1982

We were transferred again, this time to Little Rock. We attended Crystal Hill Assembly in North Little Rock, where I was the Senior Commander, District Training coordinator, and District FCF President. I also worked at the National level as the FCF Scribe. Our younger Son Jeremiah was born. I was able to attend Winter National Training Camp. 1982-1990.

Our next move was to Phoenix Arizona, and I attended Tempe First Assembly, where I was the Senior Commander, and worked on the National level as the Territorial FCF Representative. 1990-1996.

We moved on to Northern California and attended Calvary Temple Assembly of God. I worked as the Senior Commander there, and also continued as Territorial FCF Rep., and then moved on to work as the National FCF field Advisor. Our sons moved on to College and the Marines. 1996-2005.

We were able to move back to Arizona and have been attending the Vineyard in Gilbert since 2005. I work locally as an Assistant Leader in the Ranger Kids Outpost. Boys K thru 2. This is a neat group of boys to work with. They will keep you on your toes, and keep you active. I am still the National FCF Field Advisor. 2005-Present.

I have had the opportunity to work with many boys across the country and their leaders. What a blessing. Several of the boys in our Outposts have become Gold Medal of Achievement earners, and have become leaders in their own communities. God is Great!

Our men at the Vineyard are some of the top leaders in Royal Rangers. They love the boys and truly have a burden to see them grow into outstanding men, Mentally, Physically, Spiritually, and Socially. They truly want to mentor future Men.
Anton Hriczko
Outpost Councilman
I have been in the Royal Ranger program now for 19 years; I was a Commander for 14 years, then the Senior Commander for 5 years. I have moved on from Senior Commander to serve on our Outpost Council, maintaining our Web site, helping with equipment. I have a wonderful wife Belinda who I have been married to for 29 years. I have two wonderful sons, Anton Jr 37 and Joshua 21. I really enjoy working with the young men in our church, and it is great to see them grow in Christ. I look forward to many more years of service.
